We are not traditional recruiters. We are experienced start-up veterans with a track record of building global remote teams. We understand what it is like to build and grow something from the ground up. We help founders build in-house teams by hand-matching them with pre-vetted and valuable talent.
Each one of our candidate undergoes a 5-step intensive interview and technical vetting process.
As former startup operators, we look for proven experts with passion and drive across the globe, catering to our client’s specific needs.
Our intensive and agile screening process ensures we get the best and only accept people into the talent pool who we’d want to work with and learn from ourselves.
We accept less than 2% of successfully shortlisted applicants.
1st Step: Screening & English assessment. The first step of the screening process is a comprehensive English language and communication interview evaluation. We also screen candidates based on their experience to ensure they have the required communication skill set for the role.
Step 2: Analytical test. We test each applicant’s analytical skills via a proprietary test we developed over the years as hiring managers ourselves.
Step 3: Behavioral interview. Each candidate is interviewed by the our own team, who are expert tech veterans and operators in their functional domain. Our screeners provide specific live exercises, looking for problem-solving ability, depth of experience, communication ability, and creativity.
Step 4: Cultural fit interview. If the candidate passes through the first three steps of the process, we evaluate each candidate for cultural fit for our clients.
Step 5: Client interview. After meticulously vetting the 3-4 remaining candidates representing the top 2% of applicants, we introduce them to our clients at this stage. Our clients do their own screening to decide which of the shortlisted candidate to hire.
The whole onboarding process from start to finish (when we first talk to the client to the successful onboarding) takes 1 week at max.
We have a talent-first approach which makes us location agnostic.
The specific location might depend on the needs of our clients. We recommend you a hiring strategy based on factors like time zone overlap, cultural fit, and the salary budget expectation.
We usually successfully hire top-tier talent from East Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Philippines) and LATAM (Colombia, Chile and Mexico), depending on the time zone and cultural requirements of our clients.
